February 25th-26th 2012 - National Nikkei Museum & Heritage Centre (Burnaby)

IRL Events is proud to announce the first annual Kotatsu convention, taking place on February 25th and 26th, at the National Nikkei Museum & Heritage Centre in Burnaby. 

Kotatsu offers a unique blend of traditional Japanese cultural festival elements, combined with the fun of an anime convention. Attendees can look forward to a variety of Japanese cultural demonstrations, foods, workshops, tutorials, and general culture throughout the day. During evening hours however, the convention will shift towards much more fan-based panels, events, and performances more typical of what you might find at other anime conventions.

In order to provide the best possible experience to our attendees, we will be offering the following passes for Kotatsu:

Weekend Pass

• Full access to convention
• Works for February 25th & 26th
• $20.00 in advance / $25.00 at door 
   

Culture Pass

• Access to convention between 9am to 5pm only
• Each pass is good for 1 day only
• $10.00 at door (only available at door)
